Unfortunately, that often leaves out other important therapies, such as ones focused on sensory stimulation and mental wellbeing. My guest, Dr. Emily Splichal looks at movement, health, and well-being from the ground up to provide her patients with a truly holistic path to recovery.
Dr. Splichal is a rockstar in podiatry. Her functional-integrated approach to treating her patients in a holistic manner is helping patients in her own practice and inspiring practitioners all over the world. As an integrative podiatrist, Dr. Splichal goes far beyond just the health of your feet. She considers everything from diet to mental health to address her patients’ needs.
Today, Dr. Splichal and I discuss a number of topics, from taking a holistic approach to pain management to the role of attachment theories.
